How does it work?

After you turn the crank, the Jewish Song- and StoryBall will play Hebrew songs or stories. By moving the crank users are generating electricity; no external electricity needed! Each Song- and StoryBall contains many different Hebrew and Jewish songs or English stories with a Jewish theme which will randomly play, in this way the installation never becomes boring. The Ball is very strong, resistant to any weather and very vandal proof. Besides some outside cleaning the Ball is 100% maintenance free and guarantees years of play pleasure!

Your kids learn Hebrew at the Hebrew lessons. But what about getting really familiar with Hebrew in an entertaining way?  The songs in the Ball will make you want to dance and sing, so it’s a cheerful way to stimulate children’s Hebrew development!  And think about the Ball playing short stories in Hebrew: by listening to the stories kids will learn Hebrew much faster! With the Jewish themed English stories children will learn about their Jewish background in a fun way!

Changing the content is easy; with Hanukkah play Hanukkah songs! 

It is very easy to change the audio content of the Jewish Song- and StoryBall; all you need to do is to open the lid with the special key and change the USB stick (disc-on-key). It takes less than a minute and anybody can do it. You can use Eduplaying's collections of pre recorded Hebrew songs and Jewish themed stories but it is also possible to use your own content or to let kids create their own stories. Watch the reaction of kids and parents visiting the playground around Hanukkah and being surprised by the Hanukkah songs!

Accessible for children in wheelchairs

The Jewish Song- and StoryBall is accessible for children in wheelchairs; a slight movement of the crank generates already enough energy. It is not necessary to move the crank all around; the kid in the wheelchair can move the crank back and forth, a movement similar to the way they move the wheels of their wheelchair. Watch the child in the wheelchair being the one operating the Ball while the other kids dance around; for a change the kid in the wheelchair is the center of attention!
